Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
A team near me in Pennsylvania has been running the Power-I since 1986. They run double tight, Power-I and rarely get out of it. My advice is to have a great offensive line coach, b/c you will need five efficient student/athletes to play the offensive line. The strengths of this offense are that it forces teams to scheme you and prepare for you by getting out of their base defense and making the kids play assignment football. The weaknesses are that when someone stops you, and/or gets a lead on you, you're in big trouble. That's what happened to the team near me. I hope this helps.
