When blocking any front where the DE is in an 8 or 9 technique, which way of blocking the DE would be better?
1. Have the TE take the DE out on off tackle plays and reach for sweeps
or
2. Have the TE take the Sam backer and use the FB to kick out on off tackle plays, and have a slot crack the DE on Sweeps
Which ends up working better???
