We never run teh insode veer to a covered guard. If the guard is covered and the tackle is uncovered, we will run outside veer or belly-g.

If you see a 3 technique, you may consider a fold block between the OG and OT. Angles are great and your OG essentially becomes a lead blocker on the LB.

If your running an inside veer, and you block down on a 3 with your T and fold with your PSG, what happens to the running lane for the Dive Back? Unless your G has the fastest feet in the west, isn't there going to be a big jam at the mesh in the B gap? Not being critical now, just would like explanation if you have time. Combo the 3 tech with guard and tackle with the fullback potentially cutting backside vs the 3 technique. Running inside veer to a 3 technique is considered worse case scenerio. No need to fold with guard and tackle because of the potential cutback by the fullback. Would zone up onto the linebacker if he scrapes backside. Coach CAmpbell

Just to affirm Coach C's reply...duece the 3 tech...we school our QB to check to tighter tackle because, as Coach Campbell mentioned, running inside veer to a 3 tech is worse case scenario but we still might do it if there is no invert to the 3 tech side. pdow
