This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
We run the Inside zone to the TE out of the I and both the weak and strong set fullback. The FB's job out of all 3 sets is to block the SE side DE. Which of these sets would cause the SE side Lber to sit the longest because of the Split Flow when the Lber is reading the RB's.
I would think the regular I, because if you offset the fullback weak it usually tells the defense inside zone is coming because the fullback is in that position to block the DE (shorter path than in regular I). Offsetting the FB strong and having him come across to block the DE is good too.
If you really want to keep the BSLB at bay use the fullback to block him on the inside zone. Works best with a 1,5 looks backside.
