God Bless Coach Cottle

I graduated from high school nearly 25 years ago and I never realized how the loss of my high school football coach would touch my heart. Just wanted to pass on a tribute to Coach Charlie Cottle, who coached in Illinois in the early 70's to the late 80's. He started the football program at Glenwood High School in Chatham and had the team in the playoffs in it's 5th year of existence. He was a great coach and a better man and I owe him much...I haven't seen him in nearly twenty years, but I feel like I've lost a father. As a high school football coach myself, I appreciate the sacrifices he made throughout his life and I hope he realized the impact he had on so many.
