Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
On page 112 you have the 46-47 Stretch showing O-line full zoning to the right with the TB cutting left. On p133 you show the same play from the gun with the TB hitting right. I know that on a zone play the hole called isn't necessarily where the back will end up, so I'm assuming in the first case its illustrating a cutback read by the TB? That makes me wonder if I'm missing something, as I'd expect a cutback to the backside on Inside Zone (vertical push, RB cuts anywhere from playside POA to the backside), while on an Stretch/Outside Zone l have been thinking the RB action was to work from the playside POA on out to the first daylight, kinda like a shallow sweep with zone blocking (the Colts and Packers pop to mind).
Maybe I'm just confusing terminology. Is your Stretch terminology intended to alert the O-Line it's full zone running playside, with the back still running wherever he sees daylight? And if that's true, is what you call the bounce play intended to work from playside attack point to the outside with an action that looks like sweep with full zone?
Most importantly, when can I order your new O-line video and does it include any pass block stuff?
