Hello all,

I recently read an article about Joe Gibbs and his 80's Redskins teams. There was a mention to the "Explode Package" in this article. I have talked to a lot of people and no one seems to know what that is. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks!

Bill Mountjoy is your man! His handle here on the board is "oneback". He has an amazing degree of knowledge about any of Joe Gibbs schemes, and shares with us here all the time. He has an extensive archives of notes, clinics, etc. that he has been part of that Coach Gibbs conducted when at Washington the first time. If Gibbs did it, Coach Mountjoy will be familiar with it!

Sometimes you have to post a request for the specific coach to reply. For example: Just put on the header " question for oneback" and more than likely he will get back to you ASAP. I certainly can't speak for him, but that is how he has always responded since I have been on the board.
