Running with BIG splits

Now we're having troubles running the ball. Any suggestions on schemes or plays to use?

Check with Texas Tech. Conventional wisdom in Division I college, & the NFL is "BIG SPLITS = BIG PENETRATION"!!!!! You certainly can't run the Inside & Outside Zones, or the Counter/Power game that is big in College & Pro ball. You COULD try the VEER!

Coach - I am not a VEER coach - fooled around with it in 1972, so I can't be of much help there. I DO remember they split the hell out of the line. Look for the book by Bill Yeoman on the HOUSTON VEER OFFENSE. Get it thru interlibrary loan, or look on abebooks.com (used books)
