Coaches, this off-season, I plan on visiting one or more college programs to spend a day or two with them to learn their way of doing things and how they interact with players, talk scheme, review drills, and absorb other ways of teaching technique.
I know this is a common practice (?), but what is the SOP for this kind of thing? How much time does one typically spend with them?
I know after-hours "socializing" would likely be where the meat-and-potatoes would be discussed, though...
