8 in the box means throw it to me! They had better have two good corners and a FS who can play, and be able to run some disguise cover schemes. Spread them out with a trips and twins formation and you have just taken their 6-2 and threw it out the window for them. You may have to shelve your flex bone for a night , or the majority of it, but why play to the strength of any 6-2 by trying to run against it all night, when you can pull that 8 in the box baloney right out by the roots by spreading them horizontally in the PSL and vertically after the snap? Just my opinion. Running plays when necessary: 1. OSV 2. Power sweeps 3. Counter, all to the TE side. Backside: Lead Load, Lead Option, ISV.
