The shuttle run is a drill used by NFL coaches and many colleges and high Schools for determining change of direction speed. A good time for offensive linemen is 4.55 seconds. Coach CAmpbell
Coach Campbell , If you dont mind , give a bit more detailed explaination of the shuttle.....Also, earlier in another post you said to use the "triangle", during pass blocking...what exactly were you refering to?? I just want to say that your discussion board is a wonderful tool for coaches like me who are out here in west tx. without much of an opportunity to expand our knowledge past our own offenses.....i am O-line/D-line for a split back veer / okie defense football team....it is the only offense/defense we have ever used here..It is nice to be able to stay aquainted with other coaches o/d philosophies.......thanks coach............john wright , lamesa tx.
