Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Notice this team is averaging 630 plus yards per game! What is their base offense and core plays? I heard they use some spread wishbone and inverted wishbone. Anyone knowledgeable about this offense? They are hard to follow here in the south. Thanks
I am from Kansas, and got to watch them earlier this year. I dont have a playbook or anything like that but the best phrase I can use for their offense is that they are a jack of all trades, and masters of SOME. They came out first series 1 back shotgun. (with and without motion) Threw about 5 downfield passes and scored. (I dont even remember them running the ball on the first series except with maybe the qb) The second series they came out with shotgun empty backfield and 1 back, and the qb runs for about 40 yards of the drive on called draws and options. Just to throw a kink in the works they came out in the 3rd series and ran double tight 1 flanker split back veer. Later they also ran some pro sets with iso's and counters just to make it a complete sweep. They can run just about anything at all.
