It's been a very long time since I've read it, but the basic idea is this: a standard 5-man front with linebackers and secondary aligned as if in man, but usually playing zone. The free safety is aligned, I believe, 18 yards deep. I can't remember the exact depth, but it was incredibly deep. Thomson and Arnsparger do a great job of explaining the rationale behind it and it has charts with responsibilities, different pressure packages out of it, etc. I'm sorry I can't remembe the details very well, it has been almost 10 years since I've read it. -
