The other thing that I like about zone blocking is it helps kids get better evaluated for the collegiate level cause schools see these kids running schemes that they will use at the college level. We just had Wisconsin offer a full ride to our junior left tackle. 6-7 275 and athletic. He is farther ahead right now than our head coach's son Casey Rabach ( starts for the Baltimore Ravens) when Casey was the same age. Wiconsin loves him but they are also seeing him running the same scheme they do. He has the potential to become the 7 NFL guy out of our county in the last 14 years. It is an exciting time for the kid.

Its obvious that teaching zone blocking schemes to high school offensive linemen will help them if they move on because they will have a basic concept of combination blocks and tracking second level defenders. Coach CAmpbell
