I am interested in learning more about the single wing offense and would like to purchase ONE book to get started. Keeping in mind that I am a total novice at this and that I coach at the middle school level. I am familiar with many titles but want to pick the best to start with.

Simplified Single Wing Football By Ken Keuffel

Ken played for Charley Caldwell at Princeton, & simplified the Princeton SW - which is the most COMPLEX book EVER written on football.

Thanks Oneback!

I am planning on studying the single wing and wing-t this offseason in an attempt to combine the two to create a series based offense that utilizes the misdirection of the wing-t and the direct snap and backfield formations of the single wing. I am also interested in using the single wing QB as a trapper to allow my middle school linemen to get to the backers and the full back to have a lead blocker in the halfback.

I am sure that this is not a new idea, however, I have never seen it done.

Hey coach- I ran the single wing at the jr high level in 2002. our team was just awesome with it. we play 32 minute games and averaged 38ppg and went 13-1 overall (we lost our opener despite rushing for 320 yards- lousy pass coverage lol)..anyhow, i had so much fun and success with my system that i produced a low budget, low cost video for it. 4 hour video, 2.5 hours of chalk board instruction and 1. 5 hours of game footage. the footage is pretty beat up as ive made alot of copies of this thing. anyhow if you are interested in seeing ms kids tear it up with the power and spinner series shoot me an email.
