Has anyone run midline out of shotgun? If you have, I'd like to know how you've done it. If it cannot be done, let me know that as well. Thanks in advance.

The midline from the gun is accomplished by drop stepping the running back and then squaring his shoulders to the LOS with his aiming point at the near hip of the center, this play is normally called to take advantage of a 5 technique playing the QB. The running back would replace the 5 technique instead of the QB. Coach CAmpbell
University of North Alabama runs what they call midline with their zone scheme. They would zone toward the three tech with the back crossing the qb they release the one tech with the qb reading him, if the one takes the back then the qb keeps as the weak guard and center climb to the middle backers.
