Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
This year we ran exclusively jet sweep and the few running plays off from it. Our primary formation was the flexbone with our wings inverted. We were very successful this year but i am looking for some other formations and plays to run. We will be adding the option with a different qb this coming year. Any thoughts would be appreciated. THanks

Coach,
You have endless opportunities in the flexbone offense/formation you used. You can go with your jet plays and add option or go option out of flexbone similar to Air Force/Geo. So./Navy, etc. without jet motion. With that formation similar to Red/Blue formation in the wing-t, you can run the entire wing-t system also from that formation. We are a wing-t team that uses that formation(double slot/wing formation)a lot. We are trying to become more of an option oriented team. I really like the jet plays we have and will keep those plays incorporated with option. Good luck.
I recently got some info. on this kind of offense from split backs. Devastating, you can run belly, counter, dive (veer), speed, and Iso. as well as the sweep and an off tackle jet play. Mark speckman at willamette college is a guru on this offense
All of Speckman's videos are now available on 1 DVD from Coaches Choice for $99. It combines all 4-5 of his videos onto one DVD, probably well worth checking out...
