If anyone runs these plays like Nebraska did, how difficult is it for the center to get a good block on #1 if he is a 3 tech or further?

If the defense has a DT in a 3, wouldn't you want to trap to his side ("A" and "B" gap)? If you run an inside trap ("A" gap) to the 3 tech side, the C has a great angle to block back against the DT in a 1 tech on the other side. If you run an outside trap ("B" gap), the playside G and T can combo block the DT in the 3 tech to the LB. In that scenario, the C is still blocking back on the DT in the 1 tech and the pulling guard is trapping the first man past the hole, in this case, the DE.
