I've been setting my RB 7 yards for inside zone. All the stuff I learned from seemed to indicate this. However I recall someone saying (Oneback, I think) that Riggens set at 5, which got me thinking (uh, oh) that maybe I need to move that back up a couple of yards and let him hit the cut quicker. I keep meaning to check the big boys for how they do it, but I keep forgetting to look for that.
Anybody have thoughts on this?

Riggins' HEELS were at 5 1/2 (because he was formerly an "I" FB - & comfortable there). Other Redskins backs (Ernest Byner, etc.) set their heels at 6 1/2. Some go with TOES from 7 to 8! Whatever works best for you & your RB!
