I have noticed in every forum I go to that most of the topics are gone. Especially the defensive line forum where there are only about four topics there now. Im just wondering if something unexpected happened or were all the topics deleted to make more memory space for the site??
Coach, I, for one, who make an average contribution of 5-6 posts a day, would like to know where the coaches who have coached for a few years and could talk with knowledge on any given topic of the day have went? That is certainly not a put down of the new guys who are just starting out, but I really miss the guys who could relate to things that really happen on the field, and don't get tied up in a bunch of hypothetical "what ifs". The topics are getting boring and I agree with you.

I've been on this for 2.5 years and I've seen users come and go. It seems that the youth football and the 3-3 stack have really taken off. The option forum has been good as of late, but I agree, Coach. Users aren't going to the fundamental forums as they did in 2002.

this forum has been outstanding in making me think of how we do things and how can we improve or even how can I improve as a coach. I don't know if we have ever made any ground breaking changes but I know just in the zone scheme after reading post from coaches such as Tigerone, Oneback and many others we would tweek our scheme and now we feel we have a solid scheme and know how to coach it to our kids!

I've only been a member of this site since Oct. 2004, but I've been coaching at the High School Varsity level for twelve years. Like "You're killin' me" stated there is some times that I go with no posts and just read replies or might not have a reply to certain post because other coaches have given the same reply that I would have or I simply don't know the answer???
I visit this site everyday, sometimes twice a day and I really appreciate the knowledge and different ideas coaches have given on this site. I do agree there are certain topics I skip or just don't read, but it's not for a lack of not caring it might be for time or getting to a question that I might have posted.
Today has been an excellent day on the board, imo. Lots of good comments by everyone involved. Different topics starting out with historical information on the game being posted by Coach Campbell, to slide protection schemes. Sure beats riding one topic to death for a month!
