Did anyone see the kickoff return (I think it was a KO return) by the Falcons where they had 3 guys deep. The middle guy caught it and the other two psrinted toward the sideline. The middle guy then quick pump faked to the side and took off up the middle for the house. I am wondering how they blocked it up the middle? Wedge? I all I have to say is this tactic really got the Rams out of thier lanes.

Yeah I saw that punt return...that was some innovative thought process... the Atlanta ST coach must have seen something in the previous games that would allow that.
It appeared to be straight wedge blocking, but to be honest, I was drawn in by the mechanics of the fake pass and subsequent run back for a TD and forgot to watch the blocking develop completely.

Yes you are right it was a punt return. I meant PR, but typed KR. According to one of my assistants who also watched the game he thought the blocking was wedge too.
