Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I posted this also on the offensive line forum. I enjoyed the discussion on the lead step vs. drop step. Could someone please inform me of the specifics of the lead step? Is it 45 degrees regardless of the shade. Coach me up on the specifcs callside/backside covered and uncovered.
On the Inside Zone the uncovered man takes a short 6" step at the hip of the DLM on his outside teammate. The covered man's aiming point is at the outside number of the DLM. Don't make it ANYMORE COMPLICATED than that.

The 45 degree drop step is used for fast rotating zone schemes that requires an offensive line to bring his butt around fast on plays such as the Toss, etc. and or the dropstep for stretch plays. Coach CAmpbell
